The first parent company, which today constitutes one of the five sections of the Cooperative, is wine. The Wine Section was the first one created in the Cooperative in 1977, with 14 members. It started with a storage capacity of 1,200,000 litres. Currently, this section has room for 7,000,000 liters and 400,000 kilograms of daily pressing capacity.
In 1987, the Seasoning section was founded. The Seasoning section was created second in 1987, with an initial capacity of 1,000,000 kg. It currently has a storage capacity of 6,500,000 kg and four discharge lines. This section began its activity on its own before joining ACORSA, when it belonged to the Dcoop Group.
OLIVE PRESSING SECTION
The third section is Olive Pressing; it was founded in 1989, when up to 3,000,000 kilograms of olives were pressed. This section is associated with the second-degree Cooperative Oleoestepa, which includes 19 olive oil presses in Andalusia with more than 60,000 hectares of integrated production that ensures the sustainability and traceability of the crop.
The Supplies section was created in 2011 as a new area of activity with the aim of marketing phytosanitary and hardware products, a food store, and a fuel pump service for members and clients. It also has a telephone service that offers great benefits, such as free calls and significant discounts on rates.
This section has an integrated production group that’s characterised by technical monitoring of the traceability of all the plots and quality assurance of all the products.
The Credit section was founded in 1992; since its creation, its activity has focused on obtaining financing for the Cooperative and offering the best interest rates to members.
