VITIVINÍCOLA SAAVO

WINE SECTION

Sección vitivinícola SCAAVO

The first parent company, which today constitutes one of the five sections of the Cooperative, is wine. The Wine Section was the first one created in the Cooperative in 1977, with 14 members. It started with a storage capacity of 1,200,000 litres. Currently, this section has room for 7,000,000 liters and 400,000 kilograms of daily pressing capacity.

SEASONING SECTION

Sección aderezo SCAAVO

In 1987, the Seasoning section was founded. The Seasoning section was created second in 1987, with an initial capacity of 1,000,000 kg. It currently has a storage capacity of 6,500,000 kg and four discharge lines. This section began its activity on its own before joining ACORSA, when it belonged to the Dcoop Group.

OLIVE PRESSING SECTION

Sección almazara SCAAVO

The third section is Olive Pressing; it was founded in 1989, when up to 3,000,000 kilograms of olives were pressed. This section is associated with the second-degree Cooperative Oleoestepa, which includes 19 olive oil presses in Andalusia with more than 60,000 hectares of integrated production that ensures the sustainability and traceability of the crop.

SUPPLIES SECTION

Sección suministros SCAAVO

The Supplies section was created in 2011 as a new area of activity with the aim of marketing phytosanitary and hardware products, a food store, and a fuel pump service for members and clients. It also has a telephone service that offers great benefits, such as free calls and significant discounts on rates.

This section has an integrated production group that’s characterised by technical monitoring of the traceability of all the plots and quality assurance of all the products.

CREDIT SECTION

Sección crédito SCAAVO

The Credit section was founded in 1992; since its creation, its activity has focused on obtaining financing for the Cooperative and offering the best interest rates to members.

SDAD. COOP. AND. AGRICOLA VIRGEN DE LA OLIVA has been a beneficiary of the European Regional Development Fund. The fund’s aim is to promote research, technological development, and innovation; thanks to it, ISO:22.0000 Certification on Food Safety has been implemented to support the creation and consolidation of innovative companies. Date of action on October 1, 2021. To this end, it had the support of the Malaga Chamber of Commerce’s InnoCámaras 2020 Programme.”

SDAD. COOP. AND. AGRICOLA VIRGEN DE LA OLIVA has been a beneficiary of the European Regional Development Fund. The fund aims to improve the competitiveness of SMEs; through it, the Cooperative has launched an Action Plan to improve its positioning in foreign markets by implementing innovative solutions during 2021. To this end, it had the support of the Malaga Chamber of Commerce’s InnoXport Programme.”
