New school visit to CIVA: Colegio Gerardo Fernández discovers the winery and the land of Mollina
Pupils from Colegio Gerardo Fernández discover the vine, the olive and olive oil at CIVA, as part of the school visit programme run by SCAAVO, FANS Marketing and Planeta Explora.
On Friday, 23 October 2026, Colegio Gerardo Fernández visited the facilities of CIVA (Interpretation Centre for the Vine, Olive and Olive Oil) in Mollina. The day is part of the school visit programme to Bodega Carpe Diem launched in the 2026/2027 school year.
The project is a collaboration between SCAAVO, FANS Marketing and Planeta Explora, a pioneering company in the ESTEAM sector in Andalusia. Its aim is to bring pupils closer to the work of the winery and the countryside, and to the culture and traditions of the town, as part of the cooperative’s outreach work.
After the programme opened with Colegio Alemán de Marbella, the visit by Colegio Gerardo Fernández continues this educational wine-tourism strand, through which SCAAVO highlights the culture, economy and traditions of the area. The cooperative hopes that more schools from the provinces of Málaga, Córdoba and Seville will join over the course of the year.
